Self-Regulation
I think that his weeks reading has a few interesting points. Most interestingly though is the idea that "blogs can be an equalizing force when dealing with media criticism. It is fantastic because blogging is a self-regulating media." I think that this is important because it is a new way in the face of negative media to spin the public opinion if your favor. In the past, what ways did an organization have to change the public perception in light of negative press? Imagine if George Bush had powerful enough blogs that could change the public perception of him? :-) That would really prove Lutz's point about the benefits of blogs .

You make a good point that it would be very powerful for President Bush to be able to communicate with people in a two-way forum which could change their view point as more accepting of him. However, since Bush is a politician, wouldn't this make his blog difficult to believe as being sincere? Stephanie
Blogs have strong influence. In addition thet have more free right of speech. Media is regulated in some expression in my country, however blogs sometimes insist more radical opinion. Therefore sometimes they cause big sensations relating to such as social problems. What do you think about blogs' influence in the future?

Stephanie,
I absolutely think that it would be impossible to believe anything posted on the site.

Masa,
Thanks for your comment. I think that blogs already have and will continue to have a significant impact in the future. Blog are changing the way that connected individuals conduct their lives whether it is socially, in business, as a consumer, and so many others. I think that blogs are becomming the new medium for expressing an opinion about any issue.
